Baymont by Wyndham Grenada

After traveling from New Orleans to Memphis and then back to Grenada, I was exhausted, but I couldn't sleep in this room. I ended up awake all night. There were several of us, and the people I spoke with were disappointed in their rooms too. Wyndham needs to do better. At check-in around 9:30pm, the front desk guy was polite and very nice. But the room wasn't. When we came back after 1:00am, I noticed small bits of trash and live and dead bugs on the floor, plus a small insulin bottle. The white bedding had stains, and when I pulled back the top sheet, I found hair on the sheets. I didn't feel comfortable getting into bed, so I sat in the lounge chair, wiped off its crumbs, and sanitized it. The furniture was old and dated, and the chair at the desk was broken and should be thrown out. The thin towels were off white too. I was tired, disappointed, and disgusted with my stay.

The location was convenient, right by WalMart and close to restaurants, clothing stores, nail salons, and more. Staff were friendly and gave great customer service. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good and free.

Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold choices, and the staff we met were all welcoming and nice. Baymont was easy to find and reasonably priced, and our room was clean. We'd stay here again.

We've stayed here for months at a time while working in the area. The rooms are cleaned every day, the staff are friendly, and I like having Walmart next door along with a shopping center.
