Bridgeway Inn & Suites Portland Airport

We lasted five minutes before leaving, and felt like we needed a shower afterward. The room was obviously not cleaned or maintained: trash was still in the bins, there was grime and fingerprints everywhere, hair on the walls and furniture, and a dirty handprint above the toilet. The floors were cracked and tiles shifted underfoot; the bathroom had rust and mold. It smelled like cigarettes despite the no-smoking rule, and there was trash all over the parking lot. The beds were awful, and the place felt like a bedbug hotel. I wish I could give zero stars. Don’t stay here.

The indoor pool we were looking forward to was cold, and there was an unannounced $20 pet fee. The room was filthy: the toilet, floors, counters, walls, and mattress were disgusting, and the mirrors and pictures had graffiti on them. There were clothes left in the drawers, too, so it seemed nobody had even checked or cleaned them. Absolute worst hotel I’ve stayed at, and I’ve been around.

I extended my stay one day at a time, and each time she charged me a $100 deposit. To stop that from continuing, I began putting the exact room charge on one of my cards. Then she kept money from the deposit for an entire extra day and said she had no idea what I meant when I asked about it. I got only $40 back. Don’t stay here, they’re known for unauthorized charges.

There was even a razor blade on the guest room floor. The kitchen has roaches, and management and ownership know about the infestation but keep renting rooms despite multiple health code violations. Staff were volatile and confrontational, and made it feel like they didn’t want guests coming back. The free breakfast was, well, ew. The owner stays here and doesn’t seem to care about cleanliness or safety.
