The hotel itself was new, clean, and satisfactory, but I’m incredibly disappointed with the service. I booked because I’m loyal to the Hilton brand and because EV charging was available. I was told there were two chargers and that they were complimentary, and when I checked in I asked the desk again about a cost and was told there wasn’t one. So I was surprised to wake up to a $29.32 charge on my card. When I contacted the hotel, I was told, “sorry it’s not free.” The rate is $0.60/kwh, double what Tesla charges at a supercharger.

When I checked out around 6 AM on September 4, the morning receptionist apologized, said she’d heard about what happened, and gave me the Director of Operations’ contact information, Crystal Stevenson. I emailed Crystal on September 7 and still haven’t heard back. The receptionist even warned me that Crystal “does not like to be bothered,” which seems to have been true. I stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Griffin, GA on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. I checked in a little after 7 PM and found that room 419 hadn’t been cleaned, with the bed stripped of linens. When I reported it, the receptionist handed me a basket of sheets and towels and said I’d have to make the bed myself. She offered little help, leaving me to carry my belongings and the linens to the fourth floor. She could at least have helped me get them to the room. I asked to switch rooms, but was told none were available. The receptionist who checked me in said she’d leave management a message and promised 20,000 points as compensation, but I never received them. Mistakes happen, but ignoring the problem and not keeping promises shows no accountability. This disregard for guests is unacceptable. Until management respects guests and follows through, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend the hotel, and I’ll stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast and a great location near restaurants and shopping. This is a great hotel, highly recommend it.
