Manisha at reception was professional and friendly, and even gave me a complimentary upgrade to a nicely renovated king suite. The room was clean, and breakfast was the usual continental spread. The hotel is conveniently located off I-80 near Grinnell, and it was a great stay for the price.

Great hot shower with a massage head, a clean room, and a nice king bed. The fridge was on the small side but worked well enough, and the price was very affordable. As a truck driver, I appreciated that the desk said I could use the hotel lot if the truck stop next door, which has only 11 spaces, was full. I found a spot there at 2230. Breakfast had eggs, bacon, sausage, and Belgian waffles, and the staff were friendly and professional. Five stars plus, I'll be back. Can't go wrong with WYNDHAM!

I found visible signs of bed bugs in the first room, and the front desk moved me. The mattress cover in the second room showed signs too. I tried to be understanding, but we had checked two rooms and both had visible evidence. The receptionist even said the exterminator had just been there. I own a business too, and the attempt to bully and threaten me into withdrawing my review was very poor. I expected my concerns to be acknowledged and for them to say they were looking into it and would act to fix the situation. Now I wonder whether the other reviews are real or fake. They can report me to Google if they want, and Google can look at the rest of the reviews; I'm sure Wyndham would be interested too. I respect fellow small business owners, but not when they treat me and my family this way.

Got caught in a winter storm while driving to Arizona, and this was the right stop at the right time. The staff were helpful and friendly. My room had a king bed, and the bedding and linens made for a comfortable night's sleep. I'd recommend it.
