Benn Conger Inn

We come back here whenever we’re in the area, and I’m so happy it’s back in the Claire family after reading about their history growing up in the home. Drew and Shelley are lovely and always take such good care of us, making us feel right at home. The house is beautifully decorated and well cared for. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the suites give our family plenty of room. We always look forward to the wonderful breakfasts, with a hot made-to-order menu.

The host is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and the service was superb. Breakfast was delicious, and the room had all the amenities you could think of. If you're in the Groton/Ithaca area, the Benn Conger is the best choice. I highly recommend it, and the price can't be beat.

Shelly was an attentive host and made sure we had everything we needed. We found this inn while on a hiking weekend getaway, and it ended up being the best part of our trip. The place was clean, comfortable, interesting, and welcoming. Our room was perfect, well-appointed and full of history, and every room is different. We had wine out on our private balcony, surrounded by a house full of paintings and sculptures. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the grand finale was a superb, over-the-top breakfast. We can't wait to return.

It feels like stepping back in time in this elegant house, with its amazing art collection. The main house has a lovely dining area, and breakfast was delightful. Both the setting and rooms are charming, just right for some quiet and relaxation. I look forward to another restful stay.
