American Inn Grover Beach

The rooms were clean, recently updated, and had comfortable, spacious beds. We were really impressed during our stay for the Break-A-Wave event put on by Cal-Poly. Shops were all around the area, and the beach was about a 10-minute walk away. We’d definitely come back.

We were both impressed by how clean the room was and how nice it smelled, especially given that this place cost half as much or less than hotels we’ve stayed at. It was a one-night stay for my girlfriend and me. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly, toiletries were provided, and the AC worked great. It’s right in the center of town but set back from the main road, so traffic noise wasn’t an issue. For the price, it’s hard to beat. We stayed at a more expensive hotel the next night and wished we’d booked another night here instead.

The room was cute and very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We arrived 13 minutes after checkout, my mistake for missing the fine print, but the guy came back down to check us in anyway. He was really welcoming and nice. It’s close enough to the highway to be convenient, yet far enough away that it was completely quiet.

For the price, the room felt surprisingly spacious, and it was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and had fresh linens, and the amenities were just right for a relaxing stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, so checking in was easy. I stayed at American Inn recently and had a delightful experience from beginning to end.
