The Inn of the Patriots

I went to a book signing and dinner at the Inn of the Patriots recently, and I’m looking forward to going back. The Mongiello family, Marti, Stormy, and Barry, were delightful, and I enjoyed the meal and their hospitality. I also liked hearing the story behind the food and listening to the author talk about a children’s book on Lady Bird Johnson's Whistle Stop Tour.

The common areas really stood out, with glass cabinets full of artifacts, letters, and presidential memorabilia from former US presidents. There’s clearly been a lot of planning and care put into the whole household. Our individually themed room was furnished to suit its theme, which made it feel unique and quite pleasing. The accommodations and other facilities were pleasant and inviting, and everything seemed professionally managed. Marty and Stormy were excellent hosts and made our stay a pleasure. I've known Marti Mongiello for many years, and recently had the chance to work with him. The former White House MasterChef shared some recipes with me here in Pakistan, and they’re quite excellent. He’s an exceptionally loving and caring chef who helps people all around the world.

All the Presidential memorabilia makes the home comfortable and interesting. We had a wonderful evening, and the food was excellent.
