Country Hearth Inn Gulf Shores

Nikki at the front desk was wonderful, very sweet and great with customers. She made the stay better. The place was mostly quiet, though the marijuana smoke from people downstairs drifted up, which wasn't great with my kids there. My room was clean for the most part, apart from a few stains on the sheets, and the air conditioner was a little loud. For the price it was affordable and decent, and it worked out well for a last-minute stay. It wasn't as bad as I expected, and I'd consider staying again.

It was quiet and peaceful, and honestly a good place to stay. The vending machine was hit or miss. The staff were nice, and when I reported the bathroom light was out, they fixed it that same day. They also gave me a 15% discount, which I hadn't expected. It was pretty much what you'd expect from a Motel 6, and not a bad trip.

Nikki made our stay really pleasant, and the office staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful. They had fresh hot coffee available 24 hours a day, a big bonus for me, and readily provided extra towels, washcloths, soap, conditioner, and lotion. I'm planning to return as soon as I can afford another trip to the Gulf Shores.

There were bugs all over the place during our three-night stay, which made both me and my partner very uncomfortable. When we raised it with the receptionist, we were told nothing could be done except handing us bug spray. We never saw a cleaner come in during our stay, even though the website says cleaners come in. The bathroom had no towels when we arrived, and the room smelled strongly of mildew, so we had to spray it with our own things. Very uncomfortable. I guess you get what you pay for, but I wouldn't recommend staying here.
