Our stay turned out wonderful. When the door code gave us trouble, they quickly helped us get a key to use for our visit. The room was clean, the area quiet, and the views amazing. There were plenty of towels, the beds and couch were comfy, and the balcony was great to sit on. It’s narrow, so slightly smaller seats might fit better, but we loved having it. ❤️ Updated: We had everything we needed for a safe, quiet stay, including linens and a kitchen for preparing food. The beach was a short walk away. We chose the ocean and didn’t use the pool, and the stay was just what we’d pictured. Unit #205. 🌴🏖️

The rooms have a wonderful atmosphere, and having a pool onsite is a bonus. It’s a great place to stay, really close to the beach. Highly recommend!

The pool was barely cool, more like warm, at any time of day, and only one pool was open. We also found sand in every bed even though we arrived two hours after the permitted check-in time. There were used laundry pods in the dryer and a dirty sponge in the bathroom. Having to pay to park at the place we were already renting felt ridiculous, and guests aren't allowed to arrive early even when the condo is supposed to be cleaned for them.

The condo itself was cute, clean, quiet, and had everything we needed, even a crock pot. There's a TV in every room, both a regular coffee maker and a Keurig, a great view, and an easy walk to the beach. I'm 50 and made the walk several times. The balcony is private, with two high chairs where you can see the ocean, a little table, and two regular outdoor chairs. The pools were clean and well kept, it felt safe, Walmart isn't too far, and the whole town was clean. The furniture was the big problem. Every piece was broken to some degree and really uncomfortable. The chair springs are shot, so you can drop right to the floor, and the beds seem broken in the middle too. The couch is just as bad, and the sleeper is uncomfortable even to sit on. I had sleepless nights and woke up sore. I'd come back for a week or two, but not a month. You'd probably be out doing things anyway, and this isn't a good spot for cold or rainy days.

Just got back from #224 and I'm so happy with the trip. It's a nice, quiet place across the street from the beach, with a convenience store by the road. The clean condo is organized and has everything you need for a vacation, plus more. Pier 33 has all the essentials, laundry is available on-site, and the owner left a welcome package with useful information about Gulf shores. It works well for up to six friends or two couples. You won't regret booking #224.
