Ocean House Unit 2205 by RedAwning

The Ocean House was such a comfortable place to stay, and you could tell the owner had put the guests' comfort first. The large balcony had gorgeous ocean views, with the sea and beach both looking beautiful. Morning coffee at sunrise was a highlight, watching dolphins go about their routine. We also saw a few sharks near shore, but they weren't bothering people on the beach or in the water. The beach itself had inviting, clear-looking water and white sand, just steps away. Inside the unit, there was a full kitchen with a modern stove, oven, full-size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, all the dishes and cookware, and plenty of small appliances. There was also a full-size washer and dryer. The property had a hot tub, a lovely pool, and an area for a small barbecue if you wanted. Security was onsite. Pier 33, a general store with a coffee shop, souvenirs, beach and fishing gear, groceries, and other convenient items, was within walking distance. A couple of souvenir shops were a bit farther but still reasonably walkable. Walmart and other supermarkets were a short drive away. It's a comfortable home away from home for enjoying the beach and making lasting memories on the beautiful Gulf shore.

The pool is the best one on the Gulf Shores beach. I've been coming here for over 12 years, and the units are starting to show wear. The clientele has changed a lot since I first started visiting.

The condo was clean and felt like a home away from home, with a beautiful beach right there. There was plenty to do nearby, and some great seafood too. Loved our visit and will definitely come back 😄

My biggest issue was the swimming pool. A lot of tiles were missing, and the ones still there looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the pool was built. There was cracked tile in the elevators, which made them scary to ride. Security came by to say a pair of shoes outside our door was a tripping hazard, yet the people two doors down left all their beach stuff outside their unit for the whole week we were there. Parking cost $40 per vehicle. The building needs a lot of upgrades.
