Phoenix All Suites West Hotel

The elevator didn’t work, which was a major hassle for our family, and the advertised experience didn’t match what we found. The hotel looked beautiful online, but our room was dirty and poorly maintained, with obvious neglect. We were out for eight hours, yet housekeeping hadn’t cleaned when we returned. They left fresh towels on a dirty sink and did nothing else. After my toddler had an accident in the bed, the linens still weren’t changed. The stay felt unsanitary, and I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to families. The lack of cleaning, maintenance, and basic housekeeping had a real impact on our stay, and I believe a partial or full refund is warranted.

Fast, easy booking and check-in, and we’d stay here again. The location is good, a few blocks from shops and restaurants, which helps keep things quiet. The one-bedroom suite has a king bed, living room, kitchen, and one and a half bathrooms. It’s a great amount of space for two to four people, though six would feel crowded.

The place was clean, but the view was the best part. Gulf shores is a great getaway, and the location was good too. We’ll definitely come back!

The ocean-view balconies and easy beach access were great, and the location is excellent. But the older property is showing its age. Parking is tight, and both elevators are very slow. Our unit smelled musty and needed a deep clean. The primary bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush, even after someone came to fix it, and the shower drained very slowly. There were bread crumbs on the dishes marked clean, and no pans in the kitchen. Also, the bunk beds are only for small children. Anyone over 5ft tall won’t fit.
