Royal Gulf Beach & Racquet Club #5102 Condo

We rented room 5302 through Brett and Robinson for my birthday week, 04/10/2024. It was cute but small, and we managed. The room was clean and had the basics stocked. The queen bed had a dip at the foot and wasn’t very comfortable, the bathroom sink area was probably the worst part, and some dining chairs felt like they were on their last legs, so sit carefully. The kitchen sink backed up, but they fixed it the same day. The Gulf beach was beautiful, and the place is right on it, away from the fast pace of orange Beach. Parking was well organized, there was plenty of it, and Chris was friendly. Raven was also very friendly at the downstairs restaurant, where we had a basic breakfast. The food was okay, but some menu items were no longer available, which was disappointing, so we only ate there once. The gym has a few pieces of equipment and is perfect if nobody else is there, lol. It was packed when we went. There are grills available too. After the turn, it’s a ways down the road, but there are a couple of Dollar General stores, gas stations, and pizza places nearby. The pizza spots weren’t delivering. A decent room, and I’d recommend the rentals.

We had a beautiful view over the pools and Gulf, and the condo was very tidy. The host was helpful. I’d definitely rent from them again and recommend the place. You won’t be disappointed!

The condo was clean, nicely equipped, and had a beautiful view from the 8th floor. The beach is right there, and my kids loved being able to move between it and the pool. There’s a restaurant on site, plus pickleball and tennis courts by the pools. I love how quiet and secluded it feels, with a family-friendly atmosphere, while still being a short drive from the tourist spots. The sunsets are amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

It’s a good spot if you want a quiet, low-key break. You can get straight to the beach, and the pool was nice, though the hot tub had far too much chlorine. The place feels a little outdated, and the $35 parking charge seemed steep. It’s secluded, with a Dollar General about five minutes away. Walmart is around 20 minutes away, and other things are accessible too, just a longer drive.
