We were in unit 406 for just three days and ran into problem after problem. The stove never worked, even after we called management and an electrician came out, so as a family of six we had to face paying for dinner every night, which wasn't in our budget. There were black mold spots on the bathroom shower ceiling, and the balcony door wouldn't lock, a serious worry with small kids. The view was amazing, but we won't be back. We'd spend our money somewhere else.
The condo had fantastic views and was very nice. There was plenty to do, including the gym, pool, and hot tub. The hot tub was cold and the pool wasn't heated, but that was fine.
The view and condo itself were wonderful, but the management experience was awful. We arrived around 10 p.m. to unit 706 and were hit with a vile sewage smell. After we called and texted, management said someone was coming, but nobody showed before bedtime. It took at least twenty calls and texts, and until our third day, for anyone to deal with it. They told us to wedge our few bath towels under the water-heater door, then we waited two days to get more towels. The man handing out parking tags was hateful, too. We've stayed in lots of places and never had problems like this. I wouldn't recommend staying there while that management is in charge.
The family loved the beach, and we had a great time. I was there for work that week, and the condo was amazing, with a huge balcony. The pool was a letdown since it was only 3 feet deep all the way across. Parking costs $35 per vehicle, so bring cash. We'd love to come back.
We had a corner room on the 17th floor, clean when we arrived and roomy enough for all eight of us. It was nicely decorated with great views, and the facility was pleasant overall. The pool was clean and not too crowded, parking for non-owners was plentiful, and the elevators worked well and had enough room for our things. The public beach is across the street, with a crosswalk and a boardwalk a little farther down the road. A couple of small things kept me from giving five stars: the laundry room door wouldn't shut all the way, and the fitness area could use more equipment or a name that better fits its treadmills and bikes. Otherwise, everything was awesome.
