After driving 10 hours, my family and I were truly disappointed when we finally got into the condo for our 4 PM check-in on 6/21/24. We hadn’t been able to get an early check-in, so the wait was long. Then we found mites crawling on the kitchen counters and entertainment center, crumbs on the bed sheets, and stains on the comforters and other fabric around the house. I spoke with several staff members, but it felt clear that fixing this wasn’t a priority, and we were offered only limited options. I’m very disappointed after all the money we spent and effort it took to get there.

Within the first hour after arriving, we found a long list of problems. There were no lights marking the unit number or on the porch, and little information on how to enter the door code. The dishwasher had a broken rack and no tablets, there was no dish soap, and the cabinet door under the sink was broken. The listed K-cup coffee maker wasn’t there. I was given the Wi-Fi name and password, but there was no wireless internet. Very disappointing. More to come.

We were lucky to rent from a great owner. Each condo is privately owned, so one review of the whole property shouldn’t put you off. The location was ideal: although the condo wasn’t directly on the beach, it was as close as we needed, and we’ll be back.

The condo was outdated, and the outside still showed hurricane damage. Cable never worked during our weekend stay, and the internet kept cutting in and out. Customer service was very poor. They said they’d called us back and that someone would fix things before noon the next day, but no one did. They only told us what we wanted to hear and never fixed anything. Don’t be fooled by the photos. We won’t stay here again for $300 a night.
