Sugar Sands RV Resort

Paul and his wife are awesome attendants. The RV park is really nice, with clean, tidy bathhouses and plenty of space to back into a site. It’s away from the hustle and bustle, but restaurants and shops are still an easy drive.

We’ve really enjoyed our month at Sugar Sands and are already planning to come back next year. The campground is clean and well maintained, with wide sites and greenery between them for a little privacy. The staff have been wonderful, so nice and helpful. The clubhouse has tables for games or puzzles, comfy sofas for TV or a book, and an indoor pickleball court they’ll set up if you ask. It’s close to lots of attractions and state parks, with plenty of restaurant choices and grocery stores nearby. The one thing missing for us is a dog park, though it’s easy to walk around the campground and visit neighbors.

We stayed at Sugar Sands for a month with several friends and used the large kitchen and clubhouse many times. The staff made things easy for our group, and there’s plenty to do in the area. The sites have big, level concrete pads and pretty landscaping. We’ll definitely come again.

Sugar Sands is always a good place for us to camp. The concrete pads are nice, with shrubs between sites for privacy, and the bathhouses are exceptionally clean and nice. Friendly staff, and the pool water was just the right temperature. We’ll stay here again.
