The Cove 101a by Meyer Vacation Rentals

The Cove was a quaint, family friendly place, and its location was wonderful. It was a great find for our family's 4th of July trip to see the fireworks. Even the rainy day felt pleasant and relaxing.

The place was tidy and cute, and we could hear everything from the units above and beside us. The next day, a neighboring condo caught fire. It wasn't the best experience, but I wouldn't have rated it so low if they'd given us the partial refund they promised when we arrived for the trouble. A week later, there's still no refund and I can't get a reply. Spend a little more for something decent, because you get what you pay for. At 3 pm the condo wasn't ready, and there was no key. We had to wait another three hours before we could get inside.

The beach is just a short walk away, and there's a market next door if you need something. Three years ago, we didn't even realize Alabama had beaches. Now this is our little bit of heaven: I have coffee on the porch each morning, with the sun and Gulf view making everything feel just right. If you need some peace, check out Island rental 201A.

From the second floor there's a great view, and the beach is only a very short walk away. You can drive to local places easily, but the area is far enough from the bustle to feel calmer.
