A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Whaler" is located in Gulf Shores. This hotel is located minutes away from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Gulf Adventure Center at Gulf State Park, Hangout Music Fest and Gulf Shores Beach. Location Specially for tourists who travel by car, there’s a free parking zone. You won’t be bored as at the hotel you will find a barbeque area. We had a great soccer weekend in September 2022 at The Whaler (4B), and customer service was helpful when our first door code didn't work. The condo was comfortable, clean enough for a beachfront place, and everything worked as expected, including the washer, dryer, iron, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave. The rooms were comfortable and set up well, and the view was great. There’s only one elevator, but it never caused us a problem. A few paint marks and chipped furniture could use attention, though it wasn't a big issue. The pool was nice and beach access was easy. For the TVs, you'll need to sign into the streaming services yourself and remember to log out before you leave. We'd book again.

We spent the week in 2D, a well stocked three bedroom, two bath place with a nice layout and a balcony facing the beach. It made for a wonderful getaway.

I've stayed in unit 3B five times now and plan to keep coming back. It's in a perfect location, clean, and well appointed. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms work well, and the view is absolutely beautiful.

It's an older, small place, but it's been kept up really well. Our unit was comfortable, with a good bed and a kitchen stocked with just about everything, so you only need to bring food. Being right on the beach with easy access was great. We'll return!
