Quality Inn

The front desk staff were pleasant, but the room and common areas were dirty. There were dead bugs in the corners, a dirty floor, and the walkways and elevator needed cleaning. Guests were partying loudly in the parking lot, and the people next door played music all night.

I booked after seeing what looked like a 7 star rating. If I had known it was a 3 star, I wouldn't have given this place a chance. I didn't feel safe, and my vacation was ruined. The room was filthy and musty: dusty bedside lamps, rust on the lamp shade rims, black soot in the tub, dirty shower walls, and rust around the tub and bathroom walls. There was a patch behind the toilet that had just been painted over, a rug with spots that looked like blood, a torn chair arm, bad pillows, and towels that didn't feel clean. The phone only worked on speaker. I asked for a non-smoking room, but it smelled like cigarettes. The first room was so bad I asked for a second, which was just as dirty behind the beds. I was denied a refund and stuck for one night. I complained to the front desk, and they knew about the room problems. I'm grateful the staff member did help, but I didn't stay the full two nights. Please fix these problems. The pictures are from both rooms. It seems these issues have been going on for years without the owner repairing things. I'll never return or stay here again.

The breakfast was good, and the breakfast area was clean and nice, but the rooms and corridors were dirty. I booked based on a 3.9 review rating and had a terrible experience. Room #119 had no Wi-Fi signal, so I was moved to #126, which was a smoking room. I then moved to #128, where the bathtub was clogged. I didn't want to bother the manager again.

I was very happy with my stay and surprised by the good rate, given the condition of the place. It's a great spot for an overnight stay. Being closer to the beach would have made it even better, but it was fine as it was.
