Do not stay here. The room was filthy, with roaches and rats, a rocking toilet that seemed barely attached, a dirty bathtub, a refrigerator that didn’t work, and towels that looked as though they hadn’t been properly washed. After we paid for the room and the deposit, they kicked me and my family out without giving a real explanation. We were left stranded after paying, which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The staff were rude and nasty, with no customer service or basic respect. They didn’t seem to care about cleanliness or safety. This place should honestly be shut down. Save your money and don’t bring your family here.

The room at Super 8 by Wyndham in Gulfport, MS left us worried about hygiene. There was what looked like blood on the wall and shower curtain, and the shower had visible mold and mildew. Dust covered the room, while the floors were so dirty and sticky that walking on them felt unpleasant. We were very disappointed and expected a hotel to maintain much better standards. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We booked a month ahead, but Mardi Gras left us unable to afford another hotel, so we ended up buying pillows and bedding at Walmart. The room was filthy: blood on the walls, mildew on the pillows, mattress covers, and mattresses, plus urine and who knows what else. The bathroom was covered in mold and mildew, and we wore shower shoes to bathe. We had to make a scene just to get clean towels. There wasn't a coffee pot, ice bucket, soap, or even plastic cups. People were fighting through the night, and women were walking around in bras and panties. This was the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in, the worst of the worst.

I found the location really convenient, and the rooms were clean and a good fit for the price. The staff were friendly, as were the other guests I met. I'm honestly not sure why this place gets bad reviews. I'd stay again.

The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the woman at the front desk was super nice. It's handy for getting around, though the hotel is dated and feels a little neglected. Nothing to brag about.
