Extended Stay Gun Barrel City

We prefer this place over the other nearby motels and have stayed here before. Our large room had two queen beds and was very good value for just one night. The walk-in shower worked for me, though my spouse would've preferred a tub. The clean basic utensils and tableware were enough for two people making snacks, not full meals. The office staff were helpful and even showed us how to use both TV remotes. I like the push-button door codes, too, instead of key cards that only work half the time. Great location and good value.

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. When I called the desk because I couldn't connect my son's PS5 to the WiFi, they tried their best, even though the person we spoke with wasn't very familiar with setting up that device. We got it working in the end. We were late checking out because we'd misunderstood the time, and they kindly let us know. Definitely recommend this place.

A big thank you to the property and employees for helping keep my dad safe in extremely cold, dangerous weather. They found him a room so he wouldn't have to drive back and forth between home and work. They also checked in with me to ask if we needed another night while the weather was still bad. I really appreciate their concern and support.

We were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back. It was very clean, and I liked that we could cook if we wanted to, though you'd need to bring your own spices. We bring our own coffee, so I can't say how theirs is. We had two small complaints. We arrived late and found only a tiny bit of toilet paper left, with no spare roll. We ran out, then got more from the front desk on the second day. It would've been nice to have it without needing to ask. Also, the bed was too stiff for my older shoulders and hips. That's just my opinion, and there's not much to do about it.
