Karoline (sorry I may have misspelled her name) was an absolute rockstar, and the rest of the staff were just as friendly and focused on service. They had our room ready at 10:30 AM when I called about checking in early, which was a huge help. My spouse was going out on a six-hour fishing charter, and since we'd never been to Guntersville Alabama, I expected to be on my own with nothing to do for most of the day. The room was comfortable and very clean, too. I'd choose the Hampton Inn over the other hotels in the area. Thanks to everyone for making it such a wonderful stay!

Looking out over Lake Guntersville is a real treat, and the hotel looks great after the remodel under new ownership. The new furniture, walls, and carpet have refreshed the place from top to bottom. Staff from the front desk and breakfast area to housekeeping and maintenance are always welcoming, and they keep the hotel clean and in working order. I'd recommend staying here for business, leisure, or family fun.

The water view is lovely, and everyone working here was kind. The beds were comfortable, and aside from doors slamming near our room, the hotel was quiet. Our first night the elevator was out, and we were right by the stairwell, so the doors were noisy all night. It's an older hotel with repairs scheduled. Breakfast was the usual continental spread, and the price seemed fair for what we got.

Right on the lake, with a beautiful setting. The front desk ladies were friendly, and breakfast was quite good for a hotel. The whole place was very clean and had a light, fresh smell.

The room we were moved to had about a 1 1/2 inch gap around the doorway. We first opened the room I'd picked in the app and found it hadn't been cleaned and had no air conditioner. That room was being renovated, but apparently the front desk hadn't been told, so we had to wait for another one. The hotel is in the middle of renovations. I should have taken pictures.
