We were let down by the way the Inn handled a charger I left behind. They said they’d found it but had been too busy to call. A quick call would have let me come back for it. By the time I heard, I’d left the area, so I offered to pay to have it mailed. The Inn said it charges a flat $25 to return guests’ belongings to the credit card on file. With priority mail costing about $6.00, that felt outrageous. First impressions matter, but so do last ones, and we left with a bad impression. There were some good things during our stay. The Inn is charming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is limited, especially when guests take up two spaces instead of staying within the lines. We didn’t give it five stars because the HVAC is centrally controlled, and the shades didn’t block the morning sun. Our room was cold, and all we could do was close the vents we could reach and shut the bathroom door, where the other vent was. Breakfast was very good, though guests didn’t get to choose. Everyone was served the same thing, which was a first for us at a B&B. They did ask about dietary restrictions at check-in.

Parking behind the Inn is extremely tight, and it was hard to find power outlets that were easy to reach. Still, I was pleased to stay at the Haddonfield Inn again. Guests are welcomed on arrival, and Diane showed me the common areas along with the drinks and snacks available around the clock. The room was comfortable, with Victorian decor that suited the Inn’s style and age. I enjoyed chatting with the owner and staff, who were very helpful. The breakfasts were good, and Phyllis is a real asset to the staff. I hope to stay at the Haddonfield Inn again on my next trip to South Jersey.

I chose the Hong Kong room for my stay. The bed was really comfortable, and the room had a fireplace, a vintage wardrobe, a soft armchair with a matching chest at the foot of the bed, and a jacuzzi tub. The bathroom was bright enough to see well while doing my makeup, and it came with lovely smelling bubble bath pods, a vanity kit, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, plenty of towels, and robes. I’d had a chance to peek into all but one of the rooms a few months earlier, and each had its own character. The jacuzzi function didn’t work, which made me a little sad, and the cable was finicky and slow. I would’ve liked a TV guide too. Next time I’ll ask ahead whether the jacuzzi is working! The staff were so sweet and accommodating. I had delicious blueberry French toast for breakfast, which was AMAZING. The lovely cook checked in from time to time, and I’ve heard her other dishes are delicious too. Diane helped with things during my visit and made sure I had what I needed. Her playlist brightened up a rainy breakfast morning. I also got to chat with the owners, a friendly older couple, about plays, travel, and Philly sports, their favorite topic. There are Flyers and Phillies items all over. The inn has a homey feel, and Haddonfield is a cute town to explore if you haven’t been. The house is gorgeous inside, with chandeliers and vintage things. Outside, the porch has lights, tables and chairs for eating, and a fountain that makes it feel peaceful. There were lots of tasty snacks and drinks for guests, which I definitely enjoyed. Everything was immaculately clean, and the rooms were beautiful. I’d absolutely recommend staying here. Thanks to the Haddonfield Inn for a lovely stay!

Nicole and Carolyn took great care of us during our corporate retreat, and we couldn’t have asked for better service or a more comfortable stay. The Haddonfield Inn is charming and delightful, with themed rooms that are all beautifully decorated. The food was amazing, and there’s free wifi.

We stay at B&Bs all the time, and this place costs far more than it’s worth. The house is beautiful and well maintained, but that’s where the positives end. There was hair and two used washcloths in the shower, and the TV looked like it was from the 60s. Breakfast is only served Saturday and Sunday, and the one we got would’ve been unacceptable at any restaurant.
