The upstairs bedroom TVs are tiny, though most people probably don't spend much of vacation watching TV. The place does feel dated, and in the downstairs master bedroom there were exposed nails where the carpet meets the tile. I was charged $183 for four stained blankets, which seemed steep. Hopefully that money goes toward freshening the room and fixing those nails.

The villas were clean and really comfortable. They also had just about everything supplied, from towels and a hair dryer to a corkscrew, plus washers and dryers. I packed very lightly and had a fab holiday without worrying about luggage weight.

The homes are nice and well maintained, but parking gets tricky if you bring more than two vehicles. I also had trouble with the door access code during my stay.

Spent a great weekend with my family.
