The parking was a long way from the guesthouse, and the drawers in the clothes chest sagged. The pillows smelled, there was no hot water at the kitchen sink, and the air conditioning was nowhere near adequate. The pool wasn’t clean, the jacuzzi heat pump was broken, and Dish Cable TV worked only about 5% of the time. Lai Nani Ocean Front Estate claims to be a five-star resort, but that was far from our experience. This was one of the worst places we’ve ever stayed while traveling. At best, it felt like a one-star Airbnb, and we were so disappointed.

The ocean view is lovely, and the place has a peaceful, laid-back feel. Lainani is a great spot for a family get-together. I love it.
