If your room is missing the TV remote, let the front desk know. They can move you to another room with everything you're paying for. Some rooms don't have the remote.

The rooms aren't safe because the doors can be broken into. Stay away from Beltway Motel and Restaurant in Halethorpe Arbutus area. There are mice and roaches, too, and I don't think the county healthy department is doing a good job. They should inspect every room. This is a public hazard, and management needs to wake up, fix the place, or sell it to better management. The rooms need work, and the staff don't stay long. They steal your things, and I have evidence on my phone and camera. When the guy in the wheelchair at the front desk said they hadn't been able to rent room 316, that really pissed me off. I took pictures when I left after living there for four years, and there'd been no maintenance in my room all that time. I had to get whatever I needed at Home Depot across the street. I also couldn't get my mail because someone kept stealing it, even after I put in a forwarding request through USPS. I complained to the post office. While I was in 316, the maintenance man and his girlfriend or wife were selling and doing drugs and all kinds of vices. I lived in this motel from 2019 to August 2023, while studying and working. When I moved into 316, the room was nasty and smelled of smoke, with cigarette butts all over. I had to fix the place up to live comfortably, can you imagine? Even though I paid monthly, the ownership or management kept raising the price haphazardly. I was paying at least $1334 a month for that rundown motel. Last week, I came to town for business and decided to stay there again. I paid for the first night and got room 227, but it smelled so bad I couldn't sleep. I told the guy at the front desk and switched to 330. When I went downstairs to pay for another day, he said I couldn't get the preferred customer rate unless I paid for a whole week. Can you imagine? He said his boss told him that. Telling a customer to stay a whole week is unthinkable when that same person lived in your motel for four years. That's nothing short of racism and bigotry. I told the front desk I couldn't be forced to stay a whole week, and if I couldn't get the preferred customer rate, I'd go somewhere else. I stayed somewhere with better rooms that smelled better. Very disappointed in Beltway motel.

I stayed for a week and will be back soon for business. It's quiet and outside the city, and there's a shopping mall across the street with all kinds of stores. The rooms are decent, and I enjoyed the staff. They were friendly and ready to help with anything I might need.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the place seems very well run. The staff are always friendly, and the cleaning ladies and now gentleman work hard. I've never had a problem here that wasn't solved. The issues have been very minor, though people can turn little things into something big for no reason. You get what you give, folks. Be kind and you'll get kindness.
