We were amazed by how spacious the deluxe suite was, and the kitchenette and fire pit made the stay even better. The bathroom was a good size, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel. There’s a small “mall” just under or next to the hotel, with direct access for guests. The front desk was attentive and nice. I’d seen the hotel come up in searches while looking for somewhere over Memorial Day weekend, but hesitated because the Expedia photos didn’t look very up to date. We had a great stay and I’m sure we’ll return for another night.

We had a great first visit to HMB and would definitely come back. From our balcony across the harbor, the view was awesome, and the coastal trail, beach, pier, shops, restaurants, and breweries were all within walking distance. We couldn’t try the Oceano Grill since many places seem to close Mondays and Tuesdays, but there were still enough dining options. The cozy coastal decor pulled us in, and the lobby and spacious rooms were beautiful. Parking in the garage was easy and free, and the staff were wonderful and helpful.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived early, but the host took time to show us one that was ready. She was friendly and professional, and we chatted about our last visit. By the time we reached our room, the hotel staff had already left an anniversary card and gift. Such a thoughtful touch. We’ll be back and will tell our friends and family about the amazing staff and hotel.

Our guests loved how comfortable and convenient the rooms were, and they keep complimenting the delicious reception food. The location was ideal for our wedding, within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants. A huge thank you to Jenn & Nancy with Oceano for making the weekend so special. Jenn was attentive throughout and went above and beyond to help make it a perfect weekend. We feel lucky to have worked with you!

We loved spending the night here. It’s a great hotel, with easy access to restaurants and the beach. Maybe next time we can try the spa or massages.
