Budget Inn

The owners seemed to take real care of the property, and they were friendly. Our room was impressively clean, with a comfortable bed, linens in great shape, and big, new towels. It had a microwave, fridge, and hair dryer. No coffee, but that was fine since there's a great bakery up the street with amazing cinnamon rolls.

The room was decently clean and about what you'd expect, without any extras. The towels were old and pretty small. When I asked the older desk clerk for another, he wanted me to explain why I needed it if I wasn't having extra people stay. He can be quite rude, and that brought my rating down. The younger guy at the desk, though, was really kind and nice.

We felt safe, and my husband said the welcome made him feel right at home. The owners and staff were very friendly, the place was clean, parking was good, and restaurants and the park were close by. The prices were excellent too. We'd definitely stay here if we're in the area again.

It looked like the room had recently been remodeled, and it was very clean with a flat-screen TV. But the budget label really fits: there were no amenities at all. Not even hand soap, just shampoo and shower gel in a wall dispenser. No tissues, coffee, or anything else. For $75 a night it was definitely overpriced, with everything feeling so cheap. It should've been closer to $40. I won't stay there again.
