Americas Best Value Inn Hamilton

We’ll stay here again. The price was great, pets stay free, and there’s a huge, clean pool. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. For a Motel 6 it’s nicely updated. There’s no coffee pot in the room, but they have fresh coffee in the office.

For $85, it’s hard to do better. The bathroom was clean, though my pictures didn’t come out. The hotel is older but kept in fine shape, and the woman at the service counter was friendly and helpful. A good night’s rest and feeling safe matter most to me, so I’d suggest it for families.

The second room felt much better, and we had no issues there. In the first one, the TV didn’t work and the shower wall was still dirty from the previous worker who rented the room. We also had to get a coffee pot from the front desk. The pool was closed for cleaning, then reopened but still looked dirty. The front desk clerk had a great attitude and let us switch rooms, even with all those complaints. We won’t book this Motel 6 again. There’s no free breakfast or shampoo and conditioner, just soap, so I’m glad I pack everything I might need. You get what you pay for, it’s not the Ritz Carlton! The first room’s vibe was all wrong, with so much going badly. Don’t count on the hotel or motel to think of those little things for you.

We paid $200 for two rooms for 12 hours, then found out we’d been sleeping with roaches. At first they offered just $20 back. We pushed firmly for at least half, but they said $40 was the most they’d refund. Their reason was that roaches weren’t visibly present in both rooms, so they’d only refund part of one room. If there’s one, though, there could be 100. You shouldn’t have to sleep with roaches to get an affordable room. If they’re out during the day, who knows how many are around at night? 😖🤮 Pay for what you get really fits here.
