SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Hammond

The breakfast ends at 9am, and I didn’t like that we weren’t allowed to take it back to our room. Still, I’d absolutely stay again, 10 out of 10, and recommend SureStay Plus by Best Western. It was easy to check in, and the hotel welcomes pets. The rooms were spotless, with soft beds and pillows and fresh, white, plush towels. Breakfast was hot and plentiful: waffles and syrup, link sausage, eggs, toast and a toaster, jelly, butter, assorted bagels, grits, cereal, fruit, yogurt, milk, coffee, and apple and orange juice. The front desk, breakfast, housekeeping, and pool staff were all exceptionally nice and accommodating. A great inexpensive hotel.

**UPDATE** The “Hotel Manager” response is a complete lie. I spoke to him on the phone, and he refused to give me a refund or do anything to fix the situation. He even raised his voice at me. Stay away! The worst experience. I was charged for the most expensive room, but it had no lock, wasn’t clean, and had waste in the toilet. There were shady people hanging around right outside my room, doing drugs and yelling. Scammers. They moved me to a room with no working AC, then finally gave me one that worked. When I spoke with management, they refused to make things right. If you’re a family or want a clean place to stay, keep looking. If you’re trying to get away with illegal activity and don’t mind hearing and seeing druggies all night outside your room, this is the place for you.

We needed somewhere to stay while our apartment floors were being redone, and had our almost 4-year-old with us. The staff was really accommodating, the room was very clean, and breakfast was great. It was quiet, too. I’d definitely recommend it :)

A pretty standard motel stay, and the location works well if you need to get back on the road quickly. The room was clean, but the sink barely had any water pressure. I also had a bad experience with an employee, who charged us twice.
