The breakfast was outstanding each day, with vegan and non options for most items by default. The cranberry scones were to die for. The owners were very accommodating, and the service was above average. This inn is a gem and a lovely wine country getaway, though still only a short drive from towns. We took an easy drive of about 30 minutes to the Corning Museum of Glass. I highly recommend staying here!

Kim’s breakfasts were creative and delicious, and the hosts had lots of good suggestions for exploring the area. Kim and Gary clearly care about the inn and enjoy sharing the property and surrounding area with guests. Their attention to the details of innkeeping helped make our stay pleasant. The restored octagon house is beautiful, unique, and lovingly decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to return soon. Highly recommend this inn for a Finger Lakes trip.

The wine tour Kim and Gary arranged through their concierge service was easily the highlight of our weekend. My husband and I came to the Black Sheep Inn for a relaxing getaway, and it did not disappoint. Kim and Gary are wonderful hosts who seem to have thought of every detail to keep guests comfortable and relaxed. The amenities were thoughtful and the hospitality exceptional. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

We left already talking about when to come back! The Black Sheep Inn and Spa made our trip especially memorable. Kim and Greg were friendly, thoughtful hosts who made us feel comfortable right away. The inn has historic charm and character but still feels cozy and relaxing. Breakfast was seriously delicious, and the little details made the stay feel special.

We’ve stayed twice and will return again. It’s a quiet, convenient spot just outside the center of Hammondsport, with beautifully appointed rooms, a lovely house, great service, and delicious breakfast. The inn isn’t entirely vegan, but the vegan breakfast is awesome. The massages were great too. A perfect romantic getaway.
