The sunrise over the lake from our bedroom was spectacular, and the view felt almost otherworldly. Our room was spacious, with a cozy, comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom with a walk-in shower. Steven & Jeanette were wonderful hosts. We toured local wineries with Stephen, who seemed to know all the winemakers, and the delicious charcuterie board he packed for us made it well worth it. I highly recommend the tour with Stephen. Jeanette’s breakfasts were the best I’ve had at a B&B, with delicious pastries, homemade quiche, and homemade sausage. Chiva makes her own hot sauce, honey, and pesto. This is the nicest B&B I’ve stayed in, and we’ll definitely return.

The hosts can really cook. We had homemade pizza and cookies after the wine tour, and both were out of this world. The food, honestly! We felt like VIPs at all four wineries we visited with Steven, and had such a good time on the tour. Steven and Jeannette made us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. The bedroom was beautiful and comfortable, and the game room and patios were perfect, with beautiful views. I can’t recommend Moonshadow enough, and hope we can visit again.

Jeanette and Steve have thought of every detail, and they’re friendly and gracious innkeepers. The breakfasts were so delicious I can’t even begin to describe them. The home and grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are top notch. We’ve stayed at plenty of B&Bs, and this may be the best you’ll find. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t be disappointed. The breakfasts on both mornings were amazing, far beyond what we expected. Jeanette and Steve also kept in touch before we arrived and were very accommodating of my wife’s food allergies. They gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit and try nearby, and were lovely to spend time with. We’ve already recommended the place to friends and will definitely be back. We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, quiet B&B on the west side of Keuka Lake. Our garden-view room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and everything we needed. There was plenty of room to relax in the rest of the house, including a cool-looking game room.

The peaceful, picturesque setting was perfect for relaxing, and the breakfasts were indulgent and delicious. We really appreciated the care and attention to detail throughout our stay. My husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable two-night visit at Moonshadow B&B. Jeanette and Steven were incredibly welcoming and gave us excellent suggestions for places to see while we were in Hammondsport. Highly recommended.
