Travelodge by Wyndham Harbor City

We stay here the night before heading to San Pedro Cruise Terminal. It's close by, the rates are reasonable, and the rooms are clean and large. The staff are always nice and accommodating, and the customer service is great. We forgot our luggage tags, and Princess said they weren't available to print anymore, but customer service at the terminal could help. The sweet gal at the front desk showed us how to find them and printed them for us. A+, she went above and beyond.

The rooms were clean but basic, and there were no blankets, just two sheets, as other reviews mentioned. I like a cool room to sleep, but had to use a noisy heater that kept switching on and off to stay comfortable. The location wasn't great either. I walked a couple of blocks each way at 8am and saw plenty of sketchy people. Check-in took a while even though I'd reserved and paid for two rooms online. For the price, I was happy enough. Not the worst, though I probably wouldn't stay again. I was there overnight between arriving at LAX and catching a cruise in San Pedro.

The room was basic, but nicely redone and clean. The bed was firmer than I like. A good place for a night or two. The couple managing the office deserve a 10. There was a booking problem, and they went above and beyond to help. They were very nice and pleasant, a definite asset to the hotel.

For the price, the rooms are a good size and very clean. I only stayed one night, but it was definitely worth four stars. You can hear the traffic and people outside since the rooms aren't very soundproof.
