The owner welcomed my husband and me warmly for our baby moon at The Cantuta Inn Bed and Breakfast. They know the area well and gave us useful tips. The location is great, close to Lower Town, The Point, and National Park, with two restaurants right across the street. We tried the non-vegan option at one and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and we loved it. 🥰

We enjoyed staying in the spacious Shallows Room, a comfortable room on the first floor. We even watched the community Christmas Parade from there. The host was kind and attentive, serving breakfast on both mornings, and the off-street parking behind the Inn was handy. The walk to downtown Harper's Ferry is about three quarters of a mile and has a few hills, so be ready for some ups and downs. There are two small restaurants across the road, though we didn't try them, and Bolivar Bakery is a short walk away and excellent. We had a pleasant weekend getaway and highly recommend this Inn.

The rooms were clean, and the light breakfast was healthy and adequate, even if there wasn't much food. It's a short drive or about a 15-minute walk to the historical area. The beds, though, were squeaky and uncomfortable, and the house was kept at 79 degrees overnight. We had lukewarm to cold showers both nights because the hot water heater still wasn't working, even after they said it had been fixed. I think that should have meant a discount. I understand things go wrong, but guests should be compensated. The hostess didn't accommodate the issue. Also, the couple traveling with us paid $30 less for a larger room.

We had beautiful, comfortable rooms and loved sitting on the verandah and taking in Harper's Ferry. The hosts were so welcoming and suggested lovely places to visit. Rock even drove us to pick up our hire car. I'd highly recommend staying here. Thankyou

It was handy for several lovely places to eat, especially the amazing vegan restaurant across the street. The food at the B&B was pleasant, but there was no choice about what you'd be served. You just sat down and got a plate, with no questions about dietary needs. The quiet requirement was taped to the wall as you entered the room, and the reminders made us feel a bit unwelcome. This seems like a particular experience, so I wouldn't recommend it for a younger crowd. I'd only suggest it to someone wanting a very quiet, solitary stay.
