We found the location really handy, with lots of parking and a pleasant half-hour walk to Harpers Ferry's Lower Town along the Appalachian Trail. It starts with an uphill stretch of about 200 meters and follows a narrow path, but the view is lovely. Taking that route meant we didn’t need to park at the Visitors Center or use the shuttle, and it saved us $20 in parking fees. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel, with a big selection including cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, omelets, meat, pastries and self-serve Belgian waffles. Our room on the second floor faced the road and mountains. There’s no elevator, but it was fairly quiet and we slept well. The parking lot side might be quieter still. The room was clean and spacious, with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee station, hot cups and tea. The beds were comfortable, and the staff welcomed us warmly. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights on the first weekend of December 2025. The staff were really friendly, breakfast was decent, and the room was well cared for and good value for the location. The electronics are a little dated, but everything worked.

The outside of the motel might not wow you at first, but the rooms were a pleasant surprise. Everything inside is new, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely equipped. You’re close to the best parts of Harpers Ferry. I’d come back.

Breakfast was better than we expected, and the room was clean and comfortable. The Appalachian Trail is right around the corner, with historic Harper’s ferry also an easy walk away. Very good value.

After checking out, I went downtown and realized I’d left my wedding ring and another precious ring in the room. The cleaners had already handed them in at the front desk. When I called to book another night, Ashley immediately told me my belongings were safe. I really appreciated that honesty. Everyone at the desk was wonderful, and Ashley in particular patiently answered what felt like millions of my ridiculous questions. I’d stay at this location again and again.
