Breakfast had a good spread: eggs, bacon, sausage, seasoned potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt and toppings, plus coffee machines. Some of it was a little cold, and the eggs seemed watery, maybe from condensation. Our arrival was bumpy because we were first sent to a room that hadn't been cleaned. We ended up with a more spacious one, so that worked out in our favor. The shower was great, though the seal may need attention since water covered the floor when I got out. The mirror had digital lighting controls, but the air and heat were hard to figure out. We could hear people upstairs racing back and forth, though that's not the hotel's fault. There also wasn't any guidance for the TV, and its volume was low; I couldn't work out how to turn on captions. We'd stay again.

For such an inexpensive place, this hotel really impressed me. The room was clean and fresh, with good lighting and blackout curtains, and it had everything I needed for a one-night stay. I don't mind a small room for that. They also put out fresh fruit in the lobby. I haven't tried breakfast yet, and may go to the Cracker Barrel just steps away instead, especially now that they've kept the logo. I was so keen to share this find that I couldn't wait. I'll definitely come back!

The suite I reserved was a decent size, which was about the only bright spot. Otherwise, the room had dirty towels and sheets, a broken fridge, and a thermostat showing an error that wouldn't work properly. The fridge wasn't replaced at first; they only relented after I explained I needed it for a baby's milk. The window screen was dented as if someone had tried to push their way out. After two nights, I understood the feeling. Carpet stains seemed to show up every four feet, and the walls were scuffed, dented, or missing chunks of plaster. They were so thin I could hear snoring, showers, toothbrushing, conversations, and music from the hallway. It felt like a dorm. If all you want is a step above the Motel 6 next door, maybe this works as a motel. As a hotel, it didn't meet basic three-star standards. I've stayed at two-star Holiday Inns with higher standards and would choose one over this place every time.

The people here really treated me like family. Shane at the front desk helped my VNA nurses and kids get in, carried my bags to and from the room, and helped me get to my door. Artrvia, the house keeper supervisor, went way beyond her job. I was using a walker after being discharged from the hospital, and she helped me with breakfast and getting safely to my room. The next day she checked on me, cleaned the room, replaced the linens, and called in the morning to make sure I had made it to breakfast. The staff here is like Ohana, nobody gets left behind. The place itself is clean and affordable, with cozy, comfortable rooms near lots of restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and knows their stuff, and breakfast was hot and fresh. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We had to stop for a quick night because of the weather, and this place surprised us in a good way. The room was just right for an economy stay, and the property was very clean. We didn't use much else, but the night and early morning staff were fantastic. If we're back in the Buffalo area, we'd look to stay here again.
