Dinner at Russel's the night before was outstanding. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the young man who kept our water glasses full and cleared the table was great. At breakfast, though, the waitstaff seemed like they'd rather be doing something else. There was one pancake in the warmer, so hard I couldn't cut it. We waited a few minutes for more, then had to ask someone to bring them out. The suite itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and comfortable, with a fireplace in the living area and a kitchen with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and china cups. The bedroom had a jacuzzi tub.

The room felt dated, and the TV was really old. The fridge didn't work, so my pint of ice cream melted. On the plus side, the jacuzzi tub fit two people comfortably. I also ordered two mediocre desserts through room service, which came to $37 before tip.

Everyone was friendly and professional, and the coffee was delicious. Breakfast was a little cold, but it hit the spot. I booked a room weeks ahead after an office Christmas party because I didn't want to drive home, and the clean room was just right for me. I don't like headlights, so staying over was the best option, and I wasn't disappointed. I even soaked in the jacuzzi twice. It felt magical!

As soon as I entered, I could smell marijuana. The room looked nice, but it needs updating: the cupboard drawers were falling apart, and the bathroom sink was cracked and damaged. When I asked for the best suite, the receptionist said it was the best one and mentioned that the owner lived a few doors down on the same floor. I guess he doesn't care about the condition of things. There were 500 pictures of him posted everywhere, which felt like showing off. He was there and heard me talking to the staff, but didn't care. I was told he wasn't a nice person. Have some respect for people. It's not about how much money we make, but who we are when we leave this world.

We had a jacuzzi suite, with a very clean room and a comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was a nice continental spread, and all the staff were friendly. It was also nice to see Mr Salvatore. A standout stay.
