Hampton Inn & Suites Harvey/New Orleans West Bank

The check-in woman was very nice, but we first got a key that didn’t work. Then it worked, but opened an occupied room, which was awkward. The man at the front desk didn’t seem to care and said nothing as he handed us keys for another room, which had one bed instead of the two queens we booked. Eventually he gave us keys to the correct room, without an apology. I’d never stay here again because it seemed so easy for someone to get keys to my room.

The hotel itself was very clean, and our stay was comfortable. The location was okay, though the lots next door that lead to the property look like a landfill. There’s so much trash that it blows onto the hotel grounds in the wind, which is quite an eyesore next to such a nice property.

The manager was polite and really helpful when my husband made a mistake with our reservation, and worked out a solution for us. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the staff amazing, and the grits were to die for. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely come back when we’re staying in New Orleans.

The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the breakfast good and filling. Ms. Ellis"s grits were delicious, and the staff were friendly. The indoor pool was the biggest draw for me. My only complaint is how outrageously priced their snacks are. Go to the Dollar Tree right down the street and save yourself 4ish dollars!
