Hampton Inn Haverhill

My mom is elderly and disabled, and the staff always make sure she’s well cared for. That’s a big reason I’ll definitely stay here again. I stayed last year and loved it just as much this year. It was good to see most of the great staff still there. Edmarie at the front desk is an absolute angel and a godsend when it comes to accommodating guests. Soraya is awesome too, and Rafi and Roe are very nice. The housekeeping staff are all so sweet.

The room was fine, and the free breakfasts were good overall during our first stay in Haverhill, MA. My wife and I came from Long Island to help her brother move into an assisted living facility, and we usually stay at Hampton Inns when we travel. Since we don’t eat beef or pork, the western omelets were the only suitable choice on the first morning, though everything else was fine. The next two mornings, there were eggs without meat, and the omelets and scrambled eggs were very good. I’ve mentioned before that the coffee was a little bitter, but it’s been much better this year across our 20-plus stays. The stay was comfortable and convenient for what we needed.

The location was nicely tucked away, and we had a nice stay. Breakfast was good, and the room was clean. Bathrooms and tile are often nasty at other places, but ours were clean here. Housekeeping is doing a good job.

Bring a vehicle if you don’t know the area, since getting around means driving. The hotel is cozy, quiet, and accessible, and it’s close enough to everything in Massachusetts. Some attractions and towns in the state are within a few hours by car.
