The reviews made me wonder if all those four and five star ratings could be fake, but I had a great stay and can say they aren’t. The hotel is beautiful inside, well maintained, and close to lots of restaurants and the airport, which was why we were there. The receptionist was really kind and gave my mom and me great rooms. Checkout was quick, and LAX was about seven minutes away. We also drove to nearby places, including fishing with dynamite, which is Michelin recognized and which I highly recommend, and we saw a 4DX movie close by. There’s a Costco next door too, which I appreciated because I love Costco gas.

We only stayed a short time, but would book the Ayres hotel again. The room was roomy and comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful. I wish we’d had longer to look around at the statues and artwork.

The pillows were really comfortable, and the room was nice and comfortable for the two nights we stayed. But the tub stopper didn’t work, so I couldn’t take a bath, and the shower/bath soap dispenser was empty. At 4:30 the next afternoon, I called the front desk to ask for the room to be cleaned. They seemed reluctant, but eventually sent someone. Thanks.

The room had a dusty, stuffy smell and could use some airing out, but otherwise I had a very nice stay and would book here again if I’m in the area. The space was roomy, the bed very comfortable, and the hotel is beautiful, with lots of character and lovely art. Staff were polite and informative. Justin and Tim at the front desk were helpful and fun.

The bed was comfortable, and the location made it easy to get to, right off the freeway with shopping centers and restaurants nearby. The front desk made check-in quick and easy, and the staff were great and friendly. David, our bartender, made some really amazing cocktails.
