The room was dirty and noisy, and they charged my card twice for a one-night stay. When I called, no one could explain it. The clerk asked what was wrong with me and why I let them charge me twice, then hung up on me twice. Don’t stay here. Go somewhere else.

I’ve stayed here well over five times, and it’s still my favorite place when I’m in L.A. It’s quiet, close to the airport, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful, and free parking for hotel guests is a real plus for me. I’ve passed the word along to others looking for an affordable, clean place to stay.

The two guys in the office were super friendly and helped me with directions and places to eat. I’d definitely stay here again. The room was roomy and had a clean bed, hot shower, TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron and board, desk, chair, and a noisy air conditioner. It’s a small, efficient, no-frills motel, not Shangri-La or Paradise Cove, but it was a pleasant surprise. I wanted somewhere near LAX without paying the $200 a night charged by hotels along Century Blvd. The rate was $80 a night, plus a refundable $100 incidental hold. The area is a little worn down but active, about like other big cities I’ve visited. It was well lit at night, street noise dropped off, and I slept pretty well. Bus and train lines are close, and CVS, Walgreens, and Ralphs are within a five-minute walk for food and everyday needs. The lobby also sells ice-cold drinks for $1.50.

Clean beds and a great price. It’s a perfect little hideaway not far away, and that’s all I need.
