Fort Hays Inn

The room was a good size and clean, with a big, comfortable bed for the two of us. We checked in fairly late and got a friendly welcome, and the price was cheap for a good room. The TV picture was a little fuzzy, nothing too bad, and the lighting was softer than I prefer, though my boyfriend was fine with it. The parking lot’s a bit rough, so watch your step. We enjoyed our stay.

We come through Hays once or twice a year on our way to Colorado, and this is where we’ll stay from now on. It’s the best value for the money: very clean, with some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in. The pillows were small but comfortable, and there was no mildew in the bathroom. We stayed in unit #138. The AC wasn’t on when we arrived, so the room was stuffy, but it cooled down quickly. It’s dated, the bathroom is a bit cramped, and it’s not the place for fancy extras. Management was friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable at a very budget-friendly price.

For a budget motel, this was excellent. It was affordable and very clean, and the staff were kind and friendly. The room had a sofa chair, table, microwave, refrigerator, large TV, coffee, and outlets on both bedside tables. The bathroom was small but clean, with a tub, and the mattress was comfortable. They welcome pets and charge only $10. There are coin-operated laundry facilities, ice and drink machines, and even Bibles in the drawer if you want to read the Word.

We spent one night here. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, if a little soft. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, and it was inexpensive. We’ll stay again when traveling between Atlanta and Denver.
