I stayed from Dec 3 through Jan 10, my birthday, and the room was in bad shape. The kitchen sink leaked, the bathtub was clogged and backed up while I showered, and the new bathroom sink leaked underneath. There was no mirror anywhere, and no remote for the TV. I even bought a broom and cleaned the room, including the nasty walls. I paid over $2,100 through Expedia for a discount, supposedly, during a bad time of year. After I packed everything, my sentimental celery and my stained glass cutting tools were stolen. I'm extremely upset about the tools, which I can't afford to replace. The staff member is never at the desk, and charges $1 each time you lock your key in the room. I believe staff took my things. I tried calling, but my calls were blocked or always busy, and they didn't respond to my online complaint. That makes it look guilty.

I stay in different hotels for contracting work as an aviation mechanic, and this was the worst experience I've had. I checked in around 9:30-10 p.m. on 10/18/2025. The total was $191.68, including $91.68 for one night and a $100 deposit. The room was filthy: stains and hair on the bed, sheets, and pillows, unswept and unmopped floors, dingy damaged walls, a toilet that wouldn't flush, and hair in the shower. After showering, I spotted live roaches on the bathroom towel. I left room 207 with all my belongings and called the front desk to cancel and return the key. The employee urged me to stay and said I wouldn't get a refund because I'd signed the contract, then heavily persuaded me to view another room. I don't know its number, but the second-floor room was just as bad, if not worse. Save your time and money, and stay elsewhere.

Horrible place. The owner will come in if you don't answer his quiet knock. Faucets leak, and the lights only work after flipping the switch a bunch of times. Furniture and the washer and dryer are broken. It's extremely dirty, with "short curlies" on the walls and bed. At least there aren't bugs.

I've been staying here for a few months, and the start was very unpleasant. Things got much better after management and staff changed. The rooms are looked after better now, and the place smells nice. Brenda, the new GM, was much needed. She's pleasant and takes care of business, and runs a great ship. Paulette and Cassandra at the front desk bring comfort and peace to the place. Kay does an excellent job keeping it looking and smelling good.

Paulette at the front desk is nice and respectful. I've never seen her be rude to anyone, so I don't understand all the negative reviews. Our room was clean, though the inside of the oven could have been cleaner. I don't agree with the allowance of two toilet paper rolls before you have to pay a dollar, or the extra $10 a week to have linens and towels washed or replaced. Apart from that, one of the workers is kind of quiet.
