You get a good price, with only a few extras. That's a pretty simple deal for a hotel or resort.

The beds are hard, and the rooms feel badly outdated. They also opened our door around 8 in the morning without knocking while my husband, his coworker, and I were inside. They don't knock before entering at all. My husband works shifts over 10 hours and doesn't feel safe leaving his belongings in the room unattended. His brother had things go missing, which only added to that worry. When my husband was out for a long stretch, the hotel assumed he'd left and gave our room away. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It seems to stay in business because people with few other options, especially during hurricane season, need somewhere to go.

I slipped as soon as I stepped into the bathroom after checking in. The tub was leaking and the floor hadn't been cleaned. There were burned-out bulbs, and the smoke alarm was unplugged. I tried to report everything to the front desk, but they refused, so I had an officer come take a report. Customer service was terrible; they either didn't speak English or acted like they couldn't. Worst experience of my life. I won't pay cash for a room again.

Best room we've had on this trip. The people were friendly, and it was a great value. Our clean, comfortable room had two queen beds, a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. The property was well kept, too. Breakfast was included, with make-your-own waffles, cereal, coffee, juice, and baked goods.
