Rodeway Inn Hazlehurst

I really don't recommend this place. The first room had dirty sheets with hair, loose tobacco, and crumbs. The next one had roaches and trash everywhere. The bed was okay, but kind of hard. This hotel is disgusting. I'm not being dramatic, I walked into a room full of trash.

We were exhausted after an 11-hour drive, or we would've left. The room was hot because the A/C hadn't been turned on, and it took hours to cool down. It was dirty too: hair all over the bathroom floor, cigarette ashes on the bedside table and phone despite requesting a non-smoking room, and no comforters on the beds. Each of us got two thin pillows, the beds were hard, and the towels were thin and hand-towel sized. For two adults there was just one tiny shampoo tube and one tiny bar of soap. I was so glad I brought disinfecting wipes. Disgusting. We won't stay again, and I'd give less than one star if I could.

Friendly staff and a great hotel. I'll stay here when I'm in town!

For a cheap place, I expected at least a clean room, but it didn't look cleaned at all. The motel phone was broken, and the bedside table was turned sideways so it couldn't be used. When I opened it, there was old food and trash inside. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. This is the worst motel I've stayed in, and I can't believe it gets any business. The one good thing: the sheets were clean, and there didn't seem to be bed bugs.
