The staff were nice, which is the only reason I gave a star. The room was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned; they called a housekeeper to clean it while we were still in there. The carpet was sticky and stained, and both the water and room smelled bad. Really disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you desperately need a cheap room.

We ended up driving three hours home at 12:30 at night because we couldn’t stay. The TV stopped working as soon as we turned it on, and the toilets wouldn’t flush. We’d already been moved through three rooms because the first two had broken locks. When I spoke with the man at the front desk, he wouldn’t acknowledge the problems and said we shouldn’t have switched rooms. We got no money back, and the manager never responded to my attempts to reach them. We were looking for a cheap, last minute place, and overlooked a lot of dirt because we knew we hadn’t paid for a five star resort. There were cigarette burns on the bedding, dirty ash trays, and hair in the bathroom and on the pillow. But working locks and toilets are basic. Please don’t stay here.

The front desk woman came pounding on our door and said we had to leave right then, just five minutes after checkout, even though I’d requested a late checkout when booking. As if they were going to clean the room anyway. The staff were nasty and rude. The sheets were dirty, there was blood on a pillowcase, and the towels were discolored and may not have been washed. The bathroom ceiling was caving in. I can’t believe this place is still in business.

I found bed bugs after noticing black marks on the walls, so we checked out. I can’t believe they’d rent a room in that condition, and I’ll never stay at another econo.lodge again. They should be ashamed. Check-in was nice, but the room was horrifying: cobwebs, dust, and burn marks everywhere. The bathroom looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months, and I had to ask housekeeping for cleaner so I could clean the room myself. I work at a hotel in baltimore 2nd, and our hotel is a mansion compared with this place. Worst stay I’ve ever had.

I’ve never stayed here and won’t. A girlfriend of mine has, and I’ve seen what the rooms look like. They didn’t seem very clean, and the outside looked like the owners couldn’t care less about it. It’s disgusting. For what they charge, you might as well spend a few more bucks and get one of the best rooms in town.
