Radisson Colonial Hotel Helena

Inside, the hotel is up to date, even though the exterior looks a little dated. The rooms are spacious, with a large TV and a microwave and refrigerator tucked into a cabinet. The beds were very comfortable and came with tons of pillows. There's a nice bar serving food, big screen TVs, and an outdoor pool and hot tub. The remodel is still underway, so that's why I'm giving it four stars.

The chef even brought out a piece of bacon for my dog, and the food was great. We got a handwritten welcome note with snacks, too. The lounge and main entrance are beautiful, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, and the staff were super friendly. A few small things bothered us: a noisy bird's nest just outside our window, a slightly odd smell in the room, and a weak, strange toilet flush, like a low-flow toilet. We really loved the hotel and its friendly staff. Try the Sunday brunch if you can!

Renovations are underway, and the place is already looking great. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean, with a great bed. Breakfast isn't included, but the prices were decent. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and attentive. I'd definitely stay here again.

I stayed for three nights in a suite while attending a Montana Medicaid training function there, mostly for convenience, and I'm glad I did. Everything we needed was right there, so I could have stayed in without going anywhere. I forgot my toothbrush, and they even had one for me. The staff were great and the rooms spotless. Just a great stay all around.
