Red Roof PLUS+ Henderson

I love staying here. The rooms are clean, the customer service is great, and it's pet friendly. I have a pretty big pit bull, and the staff fell in love with how well behaved she is. Some of them even petted her. The staff are amazing, and housekeeping makes sure you have everything you need. Thank you, Red Roof Inn, for an amazing stay.

We stopped here on the way home to New York and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice the room was. It was comfortable, and the price was great.

The elevator and hallways had a really strong, unpleasant odor that took away from an otherwise pleasant stay. I later realized it was likely from someone smoking marijuana in the building. I know guest behavior can be hard to control, but I hope the hotel can do more about it for everyone's comfort. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and positive.

After driving six hours to attend a funeral, this was far too much to deal with. I’d booked two rooms. One had black mold all around the plastic shower wall. The front desk person came up, inspected it, and tried cleaning it herself. She told my brother and my 96-year-old father she'd listed it for repair but couldn't do anything that night. Both rooms had the air conditioning off, so walking in felt like entering a sauna. The second room smelled awful of weed and cigarette smoke as soon as I opened the door. I went back to tell Charity, then had to walk all the way down the hall and around the corner with another key to inspect a different room myself. Outside, people were hanging around under the gazebo/shed and by the parking area, drinking, smoking something other than cigarettes, and being loud. There were women in sleep bonnets and sleepwear, and it looked like they weren't wearing undergarments. What is Red Roof doing? This place deserves minus zero stars. I tried to find somewhere else, but it was late and nearby places were sold out. My exhausted 96-year-old father left us no alternative but to stay. At about 10:30 p.m., a woman had to come to my room to plunge the toilet so it wouldn't overflow. She told me to hold the handle down until it fully flushed, or it would clog again. There aren't enough words for this place. Red Roof + Plus should be renamed Red Roof - Minus. I want a full refund and an apology for the trauma my family and I went through. The company should be ashamed.
