Henniker Motel

The people we met here were some of the kindest, most genuine I can remember. Thanks for a great ski weekend with my daughter. We’ll see you next year, since the Henniker motel and pats peak weekend seems to have become a yearly tradition. The accommodations are older, but clean and comfortable. The walls are a little thin, though we bring a sound machine when we stay in hotels and it drowned everything out perfectly.

You can walk right over to the Pat’s Peak base lodge and pub, and the location is hard to beat. We had a fantastic time slope-side at this cute throwback motel. The beds were comfy, the rooms clean, and Tim, the owner, was friendly and accommodating. We would have loved to sit by the fire or take a dip in the heated pool, but we were having too much fun. If you’re skiing at Pat’s Peak, this is the way to go. We had a blast!

Tim, the owner, makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in. Thanks again for the coffee filters! This little rural motel in the woods is quiet, clean, warm, and the beds are comfortable. It reminds me of places we used to stay when we were young, and those places hardly seem to exist anymore. It’s a bit outdated, but that’s part of its charm. And really, don’t get hung up on reviews about spider webs or the dirt road. You’re in the woods, people! We’ll be back.

The room was spacious and the views were nice. It could use a little updating, but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this last-minute stay, and we’d come back without hesitation. The gentleman who checked us in was very professional and polite. Since there were many college reunion guests, he upgraded our room in case they stayed up late.
