The Hermann Motel

We had a great stay and would come back. The room was clean and nicely set up, with a Keurig and mini fridge, and the self-entry locks were simple to use. There’s no on-site office, but when we called about checking in early, they answered right away and were glad to help. The location is just outside downtown, which worked well for us.

Meghan Shumate, your February review has some pretty funny inconsistencies. The personal code is cleared after checkout, and nobody can get into your room unless you give them the code. When you’re packing up, you don’t lock and unlock the door every time you go back and forth to the car. They have cameras for guest security, and it seems like they caught you smoking. If I’d paid for that room four hours after you were caught, I’d have demanded another one. You come across as a privileged Karen, lying and not caring about the people booked after you.

Jessica was a huge help when we needed 15 rooms blocked off at a discount for our family wedding in November. I first contacted her in April, and she was patient and helpful every time I followed up with questions over the next few months. The place was completely renovated inside and out in 2024, and everything looks new and great. Check-in was easy too.

Everything was clean, well stocked, and decorated beautifully. The property looks like it was updated very recently, or the owners are doing a terrific job maintaining it. I’d definitely stay here again.
