Ramada by Wyndham South Waco

It was extremely hot inside the whole time, and the place smelled like sewage. It needs a makeover and a serious cleaning. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Spend a little more somewhere else for a nicer experience.

There were ladybugs all over room 209, and the smell in there was horrible. We couldn’t move to another room because the vacant ones were dirty and there wasn’t enough staff. When we asked for cleaning and fresh sheets and towels, we were told it would take a few hours. The woman who eventually came while we were out only left the sheets by the door, so we had to change the bed ourselves. I felt bad for her because she was alone and clearly trying, but the whole situation was frustrating. Most of the staff seemed friendly, though the woman at the front desk was rude. She kept talking about something private while I waited for help and didn’t even greet me. This will be my first and last stay at this location. I’m going to complain and ask for a refund. Zero out of ten.

Becky was very nice when we checked in, and the room was clean and mostly quiet. We upgraded to a two-bedroom with one king bed and two queens, and I loved it. I’d definitely stay here again!

The staff were nice, and breakfast was okay. The coffee was cold, but at least the food was hot. We didn’t get the room we had reserved, then the shower water wouldn’t work and the indoor pool was closed. We had to move to another room, which wasn’t too bad, though the urine smell was off-putting.
